Quidditch Costume

The game of Quidditch is a fictional sport developed by J. K. Rowling in her series of Harry Potter books. It is a fictional airborne ball-game that is played flying on broomsticks, sort of a magical variance of football and polo.

For those few of you who have no idea what quidditch is, it is a wizards sports game where two teams contest against each other. As is defined by J. K. Rowling, quidditch is the main sport of the wizard community. It is much more than just a sport, it’s a total obsession for witches and wizards.
In the “Goblet of Fire” the Quidditch match is canceled for the “Tri Wizard Tournament.” Harry and the Weasley’s go and attend the Quidditch world cup. In the “Deathly Hallows,” Harry is far too busy fighting for his survival to play a Quidditch match.
There is in fact some minor differences between how Quidditch is represented in J. K. Rowling’s Quidditch through the ages and how the game appears to be played in the Harry Potter films and video games.
As witches and wizards know, Quidditch matches are a hard and tough sport, it is considered not for wimps or for mere muggles. Since it is an aerial sport, Quidditch stadiums feature spectator seating at a very high vantage points, seating is either in towers, as it is at Hogwarts or in a fully encircling platform. The “top-box’” is considered to be the most prestigious place for spectators to be.
One of the goals of the Quidditch match is to score points by getting the quaffle, which is a ball, very similar to a soccer ball, through any one of the opposing team’s three goals. As it is in many games, the aim of is to score more points than the opponents. Whilst the object of Quidditch is an easy to pick up, it takes concentration and very quick thinking to master.
Muggle Quidditch is not the same as the wizards version, there are no broomsticks and no bewitched balls, also there is no “seeker,” which was the position played by Harry Potter.
Quidditch matches are only played once or a couple of times a semester and the two teams are distinguishable by the green and magenta sashes they wear, and are composed of a very diverse group of people.
These games are one of my favorite parts of the books and films, I am glad that they are going to have it incorporated again in the next movie. It’s exciting to hear the roar of the crowd, and the green and the blue, the yellow and red, the chasing of the gold snitch and the cheering below.

I think quidditch is the best sport. I’d just love to be able to play a game while riding a broomstick. With a flying puck, no less! What a great costume to be able to wear this Halloween…

Yes, the Quidditch match was the highlight of the first book. It sort of confirmed that Harry was the chosen one. Apart from the magic, which kids are fascinated with, the idea of a school with different houses was very clever. It allowed the readers to identify with a particular house or against another. I read the book as an adult and it reminded me of my own school days and the feeling of belonging to a house, having identity and responsibility. Those are important lessons for kids that the book helps them to learn.

as iam a big fan of harrypotter i think these harrypotter costumes rock they are a nice way to keep harrypotter memories alive and also they provide us a fantastic idea of hacving a harrypotter themed party woow isnt it great idea,me gonna go for this amazing stuff cant wait for showing it off to all my friends.
There will be a lot of witches and wizards roaming the streets this Halloween’s eve and this can be attributed to the mass popularity of this year’s Harry Potter film, The Half Blood Prince. If I were to live in Harry Potter’s world. I would definitely be one of the Quidditch members! Perhaps the striker among the team? Well but just to kind of fulfill my dream for just a little while, great to get this costume and dress up to Halloween parties!
